Rhett C. BuckleyRhett Buckley

Rhett graduated from the University of Kansas in 2008, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and English. During the 2008 presidential election cycle, Rhett worked as a paid staffer in the Kansas City, Kansas metropolitan area.

In 2012, Rhett graduated from the Washburn University, School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. While there, Rhett gained legal experience by working for both the Veterans Administration and the Kansas Department of Revenue. At the Veteran’s Administration, Rhett worked on medical malpractice, contract disputes and a workplace harassment suit. While at the Kansas Department of Revenue, he focused on taxation liens and domiciliary statutes, specifically regarding the Gene Bicknell tax case. Further, Rhett was a member of the Washburn Trial Team for two full seasons.

Rhett grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and Prairie Village, Kansas. After meeting in school, he followed his wife back to Denver, Colorado in 2013. They own a home in the Athmar Park neighborhood of Denver. He enjoys backpacking, bar-b-que, college football, restoring his 1948 Jeep Willys and hunting with his Labrador Retriever.

Rhett is was admitted to practice in Kansas in 2012 and admitted to practice in Colorado in 2013. He is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations.
